The V40 Cross Country sold in Europe is available with 2-litre and 2.5-litre engines producing 210PS and 250PS of power receptively. There’s also a 2-litre, 5-cylinder diesel model putting out 180PS of power and 400Nm of torque. Given the current scenario, Volvo India is likely to bring the diesel powered model first before the rest of the range comes in. The V40 Cross Country will be sold as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) however; Volvo is likely to price it lower than either of its two rivals – the Q3 and the X1 to give it a fighting chance..
